Ecology, Evolution and Behavior
The Ecology, Evolution & Behavior (EEB) Option within the Biology Program is intended to provide broad training in organismal and environmental biology, and to provide an opportunity for limited specialization in the field of ecology, conservation, evolution or behavior. The Options in Marine and Freshwater Biology (MFB); and Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) provide additional training in the respective specialty areas. General Biology Option allows you to select courses from a broader list of offerings in the various departments. B.S. degree recipients in any of the four Biology options or in any of the five biological science departments will be qualified to pursue advanced degrees in the biological sciences, professional degrees in the health-related professions, secondary school teaching certification, or employment in a wide variety of public and private sector jobs requiring biology training.
